Gwandalan is a lake side suburb on the very northern end of The Central Coast NSW and at the bottom end of Lake Macquarie, the largest salt water lake in The Southern Hemisphere. 

There used to be an older jetty at this location that had a bit more character, and when they built this replacement I was a little disappointed.

Having said that though, this location still offers some pretty good oportunities for photography
