Beginning in Bali and ending in Jakarta, this photo trip has been designed with the more adventurous photographer in mind. From the rice terraces of Tegallalang, the volcanic craters of Ijen, the beaches of Sumba and iconic waterfall Tumpak Sewu, we will be exploring and photgraphing, some of the wildest and beautiful locations in all of Indonesia.
Everything is taken care of from the first day of the tour right up until the last day, including accomodation, breakfast, lunch and dinner every day, all transport ( including flights ) and amazing local talent for some conceptual shoots.
This itinerary has been created with the help of one of Indonesia's best landscape photograhers, Felgra Photography, who will be joining us for the tour. Felgra's experience and expertise is second to none and we are super lucky to have him as part of our team.

21st May, 2025 - Day 1 - Bali
An early start to the day as we make our way towards one of Indonesia's most beaituful and scenic rice fields for sunrise.
After the sunrise shoot we will move to another rice field and then retreat back towards the motel for lunch.
After a quick rest and a download of the mornings shots, we will head out to the beach for the first of many conceputal shoots here in Bali, and just in time for sunset as well.

22nd May, 2025 - Day 2 - Bali
Sunrise this morning comes with an impressive view of Mt Agung. Standing at approx 3000 mtrs, Mt Agung is the highest point in all of Bali.
Another conceputal shoot in Karangasem before heading back to the motel. Sunset tonight is will be at one of Bali's awesome beaches.

23rd May, 2025 - Day 3 - Bali & Sumba
Breakfast at the motel this morning before heading to the airport to make our way to Western Sumba.
Tonights sunet will be at one of Sumba's nicest seascape locations.

24th May, 2025 - Day 4 - Sumba
Sunrise at a beautiful waterfall this morning before making our way towards Eastern Sumba.
Along the way we will stop at Praijing Village and shoot some of the locals and landscapes before heading to our sunset location where will have yet another conceptual shoot with some horses in the surrounding hillside.
We will then make our way to the motel and check in before getting ready for an epic day tomorrow.

25th May, 2025 - Day 5 - Sumba
Surise this morning at another beautiful waterfall before we spend a few hours in the savannah of Sumba.
A sunset tonight at the " Dancing Trees " of Sumba will end another awesome day here in Indonesia.

26th May, 2025 - Day 6 - Sumba
Sunrise this morning is at one of many of hte local beaches before we chill out for a few hours back at the motel.
We are back at the " Dancing Trees " tonight befre making our way towards Bromo tomorrow morning

27th May, 2025 - Day 7 - Sumba & Bromo
This morning we check out of our motel before we fly Sumba / Bali / Surabaya then have an approx 3hr drive to Bromo where we will check into our motel and have an afternoon / sunset shoot with one of the local horseman.

28th May, 2025 - Day 8 - Bromo
Its a super early start this morning as we are picked up by our jeeps for our drive to one of Indonesia's most iconic locations, Mt Bromo.
Mt Bromo has long been recognised at jewell of Eastern Java and its easy to see why. After the sunrise session, we head back to the motel where we can catch up on some sleep from the night before.
We make our way back to Bromo for a sunset / evening shot before we had back to the motel.

29th May, 2025 - Day 9 - Bromo & Pronojiwo
One last drive in the jeep for another sunrise at Bromo before we make our way to Pronojiwo.
Pronojiwo is approx 3.5 hrs drive and home to one fo the sexiest waterfalls in all of Indonesia, Tumpak Sewu.
We will shoot sunset tonight at another one of Pronojiwo's waterfalls tonight.

30th May, 2025 - Day 10 - Pronojiwo & Ijen
A huge day is planned today.
Sunrise at Tumpak Sewu where you can choose to either shoot from the upper viewing platform or if your up for adventure and an awesome way to start the day, we can make our way to the bottom and get up close and personal with this beautiful location.
We then climb back out, chekcout from the motel and make the longish drive towards Banuyuwangi ( approx 6 hours )

31st May, 2025 - Day 11 - Ijen
Sunrise today is at the amazing Ijen crater. Did anyone say " Becak " ? Instead of hiking to the top, the Becak is our mode of transport for today.
Ijen is famous worldwide and it will be an amazing experience to shoot sunrise here.
We will spend most of the day in the area before heading home later that night.

1st June, 2025 - Day 12 - Banyuwangi & Jakarta
Sunrise in the forest of Banyuwangi before flying back to Jakarta where we finish the trip.
Armed with hardrives full of images and so many amazing moments from this trip, we say goodbye and look forward to trip 2. If your joining us on trip 2, see you in a few days, if not, please travel safely home.
We can arrange your accomodation here tongiht but if your looking at flying out of Jakarta today, please book flights for later in the afternoon or early evening.

Terms and Conditions
Deposits are non-refundable. Cancellations must be received via email. Should you need to cancel your place on the tour, we will only refund any amount over and above the deposit you have already paid.. If you cancel less than 90 days before the tour starts there will be no refund of any fee previously paid. Should another participant be found to fill the vacant place we will then, and only then, refund the deposit and/or balance you have paid. Final payment is due 90 days prior to the start of the tour unless otherwise specified. Your registration is guaranteed only when we have a deposit payment. Registrations are allocated on a first come first served basis. If the workshop is cancelled by us you will receive a full refund of your booking fees. Tour itineraries may be subject to change due to weather, road conditions or any other other unforeseen circumstances.
Travel insurance:
Travel insurance is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
Camera and equipment insurance is the responsibility of the individual photographer.
Camera experience required:
A modest level of photographic experience would be advisable to get the most out of this tour. Familiarising yourself with your basic camera operations is also strongly advised. Please bring camera manuals in case the tutors need to make adjustments to your camera settings.
Minimum numbers:
All tours are conducted based on a minimum of participants booking. This may vary according to the tour you have chosen. If we cancel due to minimum numbers not being reached you will get a full refund of the tour cost only that you have previously paid. Other bookings you may make related to this tour are not our responsibility and so we recommend travel insurance to cover this. We will only run this trip if we reach the required minimum number of guests.
Guides Availability:
We will be assisting you to take photographs and provide tuition throughout the tour if needed. In the event of a guide being unable to attend due to illness or other circumstances beyond our control we will endeavour to provide another guide of similar experience.
What else do you need to know?
There maybe some moderately energetic walking involved to get to certain locations so please consider this related to your physical abilities. If you have any other medical conditions that might affect your enjoyment of the workshop please let us know. Evening and early morning shoots will form part of the tour. You may choose to not participate in these but we encourage you to do so.
Early morning shoot times are entirely dependant on the sunrise times so schedules we set for departure will need to be adhered to strictly. It’s not fair to the group as a whole to have to wait for a late riser so we will leave exactly at the times advised by the tour leader.
Please bring clothing suited to early morning or evening shoots that may be a little chilly, sturdy foot wear, hat, sunscreen and camera of course…. Like any trip away from home please bring personal medication requirements. We usually meet the evening before the workshop to have drinks and/or dine together and get to know each other. Please consider this when planning your travel arrangements.
Liability Limitation Statement:
We aim to provide every participant with a safe and enjoyable experience during the tour. As there is always an element of risk associated with the outdoors and travel in general we accept no responsibility/liability for injury, death, illness, losses or additional expenses associated with tour participation. By signing the booking form you are agreeing to all the listed terms and conditions.

The information provided by participants will not be released to any other parties.
Trip Investment:
The cost of the trip is $6995 aud. A deposit of $2000 aud, or full payment plus any single supplements, is to be paid with the return of the booking form. If paying just the deposit amount with your trip registration, the remainder of the trip needs to be paid no later than 90 days prior to departure. Single supplement for this tour is $850 aud
